Getting a fully approved Google Adsense account might not be as hard as some may think. You just have to follow the AdSense eligibility requirements before applying and your account will be approved in no time. Placing AdSense ads on a website or blog is the dream of almost every blogger. This is simply because AdSense happens to be one of the best-trusted ways any website owner can make money from their website’s visitors without the need for the user to make a purchase.

If you read any of my previous posts about AdSense, I made mention that monetizing your website with Google Adsense is the best way to offer free content to your readers and still earn a decent amount of money. I have been using AdSense for many years and I can guarantee that if you follow all the steps I’m about to show you, You will get a fully approved Google Adsense account in no time.

The Google Adsense Approval Process

Before I begin with the requirements needed to apply for Adsense, I want you to know this is for website and blog owners only. If you are a YouTuber you can skip this and navigate to “Google Adsense Approval Process For Youtubers“, Because, the requirements for getting approved for Adsense for Youtube content creators are completely different.

Signing up for Google AdSense is completely free. After getting approved, You will get the chance to place advertisements on your website or blog and get paid anytime you receive visitors to your site and clicks to your ads.

How To Get Approved For Google Adsense

Now that you know the procedure for getting your AdSense approved, I’m going to breakdown how to do each step to get your account approved without any issues.

Make sure your website is compatible with AdSense

Before applying for Adsense, Your approval or rejection will be based on this step, so pay very close attention to what I’m about to teach you. If your website is less than 1 – 5 months old, do not apply for Adsense. I know some people break this rule and apply, however, it’s not advisable to do so. Here’s a list of things you need to follow before applying.

• Apply when your Blog is 6 months and older
• You should have 100+ posts (I recommend 300 articles)
• Get at least 4000 visitors or pageviews to your blog before applying
• Your website must have legal pages (contact us, about us, privacy policy, TOS)
• All Content on your website should be original and not plagiarised or copied from other websites
• The design of your website should include ad spaces (for AdSense ad placement)
• Your website should have a clear easy to use navigation
• You should be 18years or older
• Your website shouldn’t include adult content(18+)
• Your website shouldn’t include content such as Drugs, Chemicals, explosives, weapons, Gambling and casino, violence, war, tobacco, vaping, guns, and related products.

Apply for an Adsense account by Signing up

After making sure your website is compatible and meets all the requirements for Adsense approval, You will need to visit the Google AdSense sign up page to apply. You can do this, by visiting the official Google Adsense sign up page.

Make sure to put in the correct information for each field. Use a real name, email, and address. You will be asked to verify your address after some months when your account is already approved.

Login and Verify your AdSense account

After you successfully create an account, Google will need to make sure the website you submitted for review is owned by you. For your site to begin the Adsense approval review process, you will need to login to your account, copy your verification code and place it in the header on your website/blog.

Wait for 1-2 weeks for review & approval

Now depending on the country, you are in, the approval process can take less than a week. For countries like Asia and Africa, it takes more than 7 days to receive your approval message. Check your email constantly for your approval message.

Google Adsense Approval Process For Youtubers

To get accepted into the AdSense program as a YouTuber, You need to meet certain requirements to get approved for Adsense. Apart from the fact that you need an active youtube channel, Here are some of the other requirements to join

• Make sure your channel follows our policies and guidelines.
• Enable 2-Step Verification for your Google Account.
• Have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 valid public watch hours.
• Sign YPP (Youtube Partner Program) terms.
• Make sure you don’t already have an AdSense account.

After following the requirements above and signing up, Your channel’s content will be reviewed by the YPP automated systems and human reviewers to check if it follows all of our guidelines.

Note: Avoid having channels leading violence, drugs, or any illegal content.

Google Adsense Payment Methods
